Its finally here! There are just 30 mins until the 18th World Cup kicks off in Germany with Germany playing against Costa Rica. The opening ceremony finished some 30 mins ago and it was loads of fun. The Brits kick off tomorrow against Paraguay and that will surely be an amazing match. Yahoo’s official World Cup site is awesome with TONS of great info, pictures and so much more. I have spent over an hour there and it looks great. I can’t wait to see what else it houses because the shear size of it is amazing. It’s going to be a fun filled month to say the least, and no matter who makes it to the finals, I hope that it will be entertaining and fun. So this marks my first post of the 2006 World Cup. So if you would please excuse me, I have to go and get the chips and drinks ready for the opening match! Bye for now!

update> That match was awesome! The match finished about 30 mins ago and I have to say that it was some match. Both sides were in excellent form and the goals just kept on flowing. 6 goals in all, 4 to Germany and 2 to Costa Rica. Germany’s last 2 goals sealed their fate and Costa Rica had an excellent second goal. It was such an entertaining 90 minutes and a perfect opening match. Great stuff
