Yesterday another political disaster and tragedy occurred in Lebanon. A minister belonging to the majority March-14 block, that opposes Syria and which makes up the government that is headed by Prime Minister Siniora, was brutally gunned down sometime during Tuesday afternoon. This is yet another disaster that has hit this country during the last 2 years which include the assassination of former Prime Minister Harriri and other prominent journalists and politicians; the recent war that occurred in the summer between Israel and Hezbollah. I believe that regardless of one’s religion, political views or convictions this was an inhumane and disgusting act and a horrible way for one to die. I pray for everyone concerned, I pray for this nation and I pray for the safety of us all during the coming days, weeks and months to come.
